Welcome to The Nest vacation home! Bright and airy, with 3900 sq ft of living space, The Nest is located just outside Victoria-by-the-Sea on a peaceful five-acre ocean front lot. Relax on the Island’s south shore, famous for its red sands, rugged coastline and dramatic tides. Just a short 20-minute drive from the Confederation Bridge and 30 minutes to Charlottetown and Cavendish, The Nest is conveniently located in the heart of PEI. The Nest comfortably sleeps 12 with four main-house bedrooms and a separate Bunkie.
Guests enter through the mud room which opens to a light-filled open concept living room, kitchen, and dining area. High ceilings, large windows, and a panorama of beautiful views and sunlight! The living room has comfortable seating and a wood fireplace for cozy nights in. The luxury kitchen is fully equipped with a six-burner gas cooktop and more. Enjoy dining in at the large custom dining table, bar stool kitchen seating area or the screen porch dining area – the choice is yours! The main floor also features a closed-door office/tv room as well a gorgeous screened-in living/dining room complete with puzzle table. Everyone’s favourite summertime room.
Upstairs you will find an open concept loft area with recliner seating, a perfect reading nook overlooking the ocean. To the west is the master suite with a king bed, large ocean-view windows, walk-in closet and spacious ensuite bathroom with soaker tub and walk-in shower. To the east are two queen bedrooms, guest bathroom with walk-in shower.
In the basement you’ll find another bedroom with king bed as well as a spacious open concept area with ping pong table. The high-ceiling basement also features a powder room and laundry room. The home also has a private outdoor cedar shower, a truly relaxing experience!
The Bunkie is every child and teenager’s dream with beautiful high ceilings, sofa, and powder room. There are 4 XL built-in twin bunk-beds, each with their own curtain, reading light and outlet.
Outside you will have the ultimate ‘countryside feel’. The large grassy yard is surrounded by many trees, and beautiful views. Keep an eye out for the ospreys, bald eagles and other birds that visit often! Spend your summer days at the quiet beach where you will usually be the only group there. Relax in the shorefront hammocks, or on the deck which has comfortable loungers. Cook delicious meals on the Big Green Egg BBQ & Smoker. Enjoy the uniquely designed firepit for campfires and sing-alongs.
Are you a golfer? Perfect your short game on the custom golf green with 100-yard hitting platform! The home also comes with 2 single and 1 double kayaks, so there are plenty of ways to adventure!
The Nest has AC throughout (excluding the Bunkie) and an EV (Electric Vehicle) ChargePoint Charger (with plug adaptor for Tesla vehicles).
Eat at amazing restaurants and view incredible scenery at the charming town of Victoria-By-The-Sea which is only a 5 minute drive away, or take an adventure to Charlottetown, about 30 minutes away. Anderson’s Creek, Green Gables and other Cavendish golf courses are within 30 minutes, or try The Links at Crowbush Cove to the east or Mill River to the west, each about an hour’s drive. Bonshaw Hills Provincial Park is nearby, where you can disc golf, hike or mountain bike or check out the excellent mountain biking trails at nearby Brookvale. PEI has something for everyone!
